We are so happy we stayed at Las Caletas lodge! After searching and searching we decided to book here and it was our best decision! Jolanda was very responsive and helped us organize everything in order to get there. Myra and staff on site were so hospitable, accommodating and communicative. The food AMAZING!!! The grounds are gorgeous, well maintained with attention to detail. The rooms, dining area/hang out zone were immaculate and beautiful. We stayed in a duplex with our two teens. Rooms are just what you see in the pictures! The beach, just a walk down the path in front of the lodge is a little cove of paradise. We spent the days walking the path stopping from beach to beach to swim and hang out. Toucans, monkeys, birds are all over the place. We were there during a stormy day and had no issues. We hung out in the dining area, read, played games, and enjoyed the incredible views. You have to get here by boat and there are people on the beach that will help carry your luggage to and from the boat and up to the lodge. Was really safe. It is a wet landing but so warm you dry quick! Did I mention the food--- sooo good with lots of love and flavor.

We were traveling by car and parked it in Sierpe. Jolanda gave us clear directions on how to get to the parking area and the costs for it. To reach Las Caletas, you take a boat for a long and very scenic trip and do a wet landing upon arrival. Even though water shoes are recommended, landing on sand would also be possible barefoot. We were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly Emily, who was always helpful and available throughout our stay. Las Caletas is nestled in the forest along a beautiful beach. The cabins don’t have air conditioning but are still very comfortable, and the beds are super cozy. I would especially like to highlight the food—both breakfast and dinner were delicious. My wife is allergic to milk and dairy products, but the kitchen accommodated her needs without compromising on taste. Each evening, we were informed about the departure times for our booked tours or other transport arrangements, ensuring everything went smoothly. We would definitely book again and felt very comfortable throughout our stay.

Peaceful lodge nested in nature, some much wildlife to be seen from the long chairs with ocean view in the background. Jolanda helped us very efficiently to organise our stay and plan activities in advance, and on site Mayra runs everything very well and with extreme kindness. Staff helped us very efficiently with luggage upon arrival and departure. Food was great quality and freshly made, which is remarkable for such a remote location, mostly accessible by boat. Transfers were organised for us as well, just had to ask. Beautiful authentic beaches just a few minute walk from the lodge. The local agency that was referred for Tours by Jolanda was very professional, we did Sierpe River, Corcovado NP, and snorkelling. The combo of lodge quality and professional tours made one of the best experience we ever had.

We had a wonderful stay here. The location is amazing. Spectacular view and lots of wildlife. Yolanda, Myra, and the rest of the staff are so hospitable and kind. They've really created something special. There is a main dining area with a view of the ocean and surrounding wildlife. It is open with coffee, cookies, and comfortable seating all day. Meals are provided with the stay, and the dining experience was excellent. I highly recommend Las Caletas!
